Fabio Sarao appointed Deputy Head of Cash Management in Switzerland

BNP Paribas has announced the appointment of Fabio Sarao since January 2ndas Deputy Head of Cash management Switzerland. He reports to Philippe Hohl, Head of Cash Management Switzerland. Fabio Sarao has an extensive experience in the banking industry as well as in the corporate services sector. Prior he moved to the banking sector, Fabio started in 1999 within Roche as Treasury Manager. After a stint of 3 years he build and ran Panalpina’s Cash Management at Group Treasury level in Basel. In 2006 he moved to Citi in London within GTS EMEA team; in 2008 he was hired by Deutsche Bank where ultimately he managed a team of seven people. Throughout the years, he carried out successful sales strategies and expanded dramatically the client portfolio he was in charge of, gaining new clients especially within the large Swiss corporations segment. Fabio has been a major actor in increasing Deutsche Bank market shares. Within BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA, he is now involved in defining and implementing a cash management strategy aligned with the local clients, of suggesting and developing new solutions based on a deep and thorough understanding of the clients’ needs and requirements. Further, he’s tasked to expand the Swiss corporate client portfolios, among other things.
